Contact adhesive EDPM

Glue consumption:

The adhesive must be applied evenly to the foil and the substrate.
Consumption of EPDM contact adhesive: 2.5 liters = 6.25 m2
Consumption of EPDM contact adhesive: 5.0 liters = 12.5 m2

• Check the adhesions by gluing a small piece of foil to the substrate.
• Some surfaces are uneven and porous and will lead to a higher consumption, while non-porous surfaces will require lower consumption.
• After gluing, an open time must be observed, with the aim of allowing the solvents to evaporate. The correct time of gluing can be determined by pressing firmly with a finger on the adhesive layer. The glue should still stick slightly, but should no longer adhere to the finger.
• Subsequently, the two glued surfaces must be brought against each other while avoiding air entry instantly in the correct position. The adhesive force is such that it cannot be moved afterwards.
• Then roll firmly cq. press to establish a good connection.
• The maximum allowed open time for contact bonding is approximately 1 hour.
• The product should be processed under dry weather conditions and at a minimum of +5 degrees
